چکیده

With the continuous development of traffic construction, road engineering inevitably crosses aeolian sand river valley area. Compared with general sandy soil and silty soil, cohesionless foundation has similar properties fluid higher liquefaction potential. Precast cement pile can greatly improve vertical bearing capacity foundation, but this paper finds that it also antiliquefaction effect when is used to reinforce foundation. In addition, there may be more than one in areas frequent earthquakes. Therefore, explores reliquefaction characteristics reinforced by precast piles through shaking table test. The test results show under excitation 0.4 g EL Centro wave: (1) increase pore pressure will have multiple instantaneous peaks, which promote surface float or sink. phenomenon weakened earthquakes reinforcement. (2) prefabricated resistance best shallow layer increased 30%, deeper buried depth, lower effect. (3) ability improved after strong earthquake, dynamic response significantly next earthquake. (4) When reliquefied, main frequency migrate low frequency. liquefied inhibit (2 ~ 15 Hz) energy transfer high (25~30 transfer. provide reference for design application

Numerical Simulation of Piles Subjected To Lateral Spreading and Comparison with Shaking Table Results

Pile foundations are relatively vulnerable to lateral loads. During liquefaction-induced lateral spreading, this vulnerability is particularly conspicuous due to a loss of strength and stiffness in the liquefied soil. A nonlinear effective stress analysis incorporating an elastoplastic constitutive model based on Finite Difference Method (FLAC2D program) was used to numerically simulate shake t...

Eccentrically loaded strip foundation on geogrid-reinforced sand

Results are presented for laboratory model tests conducted to determine the ultimate bearing capacity of an eccentrically loaded strip foundation supported by geogridreinforced sand. Only one type of sand at one relative density of compaction and one type of geogrid were used for the tests. The depth of the foundation was varied from zero to B (width of foundation). Based on the laboratory test...

Liquefaction Triggering Criterion Using Shake Table Test

Earthquake induced liquefaction in saturated granular soils is an important phenomenon causing severe damages. In order to minimize the ill-effects due to liquefaction, various lab tests, field tests are being used which assess the liquefaction potential. In the present study the shake table test has been used for assessing soil liquefaction of loose saturated cohesionless sand by simulating ea...

Games on Line Graphs and Sand Piles

The dynamics of several games on line graphs is studied. Relations between these games and a one-dimensional version of the sand pile model are established. We also study a generalization of the latter model, which we call the ice pile model. Specifically, we investigate the dynamical behavior of all these games and provide closed formulas for the transient time lengths they require to reach th...

strength evaluation of wet reinforced silty sand by triaxial test

conventional investigations on the behavior of reinforced and unreinforced soils are often investigated at the failure point. in this paper, a new concept of comparison of the behavior of reinforced and unreinforced soil by estimating the strength and strength ratio (deviatoric stress of reinforced sample to unreinforced sample) at various strain levels is proposed. a comprehensive set of labor...
